Guardians of Mercy Animal League was incorporated as a non-profit, no-kill organization in 1998 in response to the critical overpopulation of cats in the Hawley area, to rescue stray and unwanted cats, neuter/spay them, find homes for as many as possible and provide humane shelter for the others as long as necessary.
